Nice and flavorful. This is basically Shock plus Claws of Wirewood, which makes it a good value. I dunno if I'd take this over Lightning Bolt. Probably not, but still.
This art is pretty awesome by itself, though, as a male, I prefer Earthbind's art.

Excellent art, captures the flavor perfectly. Not a very good card, though; there's better creature-only burn, and there are much better flying hosers.

I have friends who don't like to look at this card because it gives them vertigo.
But also awesome art!! I wonder if they asked around amongst the artists who really has acrophobia...
This is also probably the most coherent picture Drew Tucker ever did... :P (At least back then)
DT: I don't want to like this piece, but it was pretty successful. The composition gives it an uncontrollable spin, and it was exactly what I was shooting for.
MC: I can see why you might not want to like this one. It does not necessarily have the Tucker signature abstraction. But, like you said, it has a "spin" that just works. I actually think the hard lines (that you probably don't like) work to create the severe perspective and expanded depth of field in the piece. If you had softened background elements, it wouldn't be as successful.
