Auras, even with a cheap-for-cost effect like this, are often also not worth it without evasion. It's not just card advantage and other issues, look at the top auras! They have all have Trample, Flying, and/or another buff and at reasonable mana costs, before you consider the other good pieces of the card often attached.

This may give you some quick beats in a white artifact deck, but you'll need to be careful building the deck in order to get this to do much.
