Don't even bother! Just use Intangible Virtue or something. I mean, if you're running White, you're using tokens, right? Of course, obviously! If you're not, Honor of the Pure is still arguably better than this card since multiple creatures share the love. This card is only worth putting in a deck if you're at a Sealed Tournament and didn't get anything better, and you have 2 minutes left to finish your deck, and it's one of those "Man, *** it" last minute throw-in's.

Dolorosa does not understand that this is a combat trick, not a pump spell. And a brilliant one at that. Anyone remember slaughter cry?
Well you're sort of looking at it.

Pauper, limited, and casual material. I like it well enough :)

This card has two uses: Unexpected creature removal in combat, or 2 extra damage to the face. And if a creature has lifelink, then it gets you 2 extra life, and probably saves you a creature in the process.

Almost lost to it once at prerelease. Yes, there are much better cards... there are also MUCH worse cards. 3/5

What this needs is a planeshifted frame and/or a flavour text reference to "striking like thunder".

This feels mostly better than Vampiric Fury in limited. It's pretty comparable to moment of heroism, maybe only a bit worse.
Which is sad, because Zealous Strike comes one set after. >_>

Great art, useful combat instant.

Sometimes I read these comments and I wonder if people don't understand that "Limited" block play is a thing that happens.

I wouldn't say this is completely outclassed by zealot strike. yes, zealot strike is strictly better, but the two extra toughness shouldn't add much to a first striker in combat, because you are going for a kill anyways. Yes, the two toughness will have uses, but this is mostly a way to ensure that your opponent's creature dies without losing your (through first strike.)
@dolorosa Wizards just came out with Theros. Cards with the heroic ability are going to love this card (i.e Favored hoplite). The temporary bonus is worth the surprise factor, because enchantments are usually easier to counter than instants.
