My third Johnny deck creation moment came when I paired this already powerful creature up with Deathlace (yes I found a use for it!) and/or Sleight of Mind. I remember my UW deck being very powerful because of that combo (back when Beta was the latest set).

A great classic card, and one that taught valuable lessons about patience when looking across the table against the likes of Royal Assassin. Now that he is a knight and can benefit from Knight Exemplar, he's better than ever - and can even kill black planeswalkers. A fun card and will perhaps be reprinted someday.

Bruce only joined the Paladin Army so the other northerners wouldn't find out his secret - that he never learned to read. Even in the army he would carry the Book of Tal around and occasionally pretend to read it, not knowing that he was holding it upside down.
