3/3 for 3 is a good deal in Black. Add unblockability, and it he'll chip merrily away at your opponent's life total.

U/B exalted deck? if one can do it this would be a good candidate for being the attacker

My favorite of the cycle, and rogue decks could find some good use for him, though he is overshadowed by Invisible Stalker in that regard.

Seems good with the "loner'" mechanic in Avacyn Restored: Homicidal Seclusion.

In limited this is good, especially considering this might be the best color combo in M13.

Turn Three: This
Turn Four: Dark Favor, unblockable, Swing for 6.

Add some exalted cards and some control and you've got yourself a good deck.

Is it just me or does Dimir aggro start to look good right about now? I mean in standard alone we have a 1 drop, 2 drop and 3 drop unblockable creatures with tormented soul, invisible stalker and harbor bandit? not to mention artful dodge, a spell in the same set that makes anyone else's power a burn spell...twice. Seems like a good shell for a deck idea, and I'm working on what to do when gatecrash brings its goodies, dual colors or triple.

This guy, along with some Welkin Terns, applied the pressure needed to make my Thundermaw Hellkite lethal in force-drafted Grixis Control. Hell yeah.

I guess it shouldn't come as a surprise that the art director makes great card art
