Sure this card may seem fun, but Swerve spells complete the same objective with less mana investment and a greater range of versatility.

Except that this can take your opponent's entire attack and smack them in the face with it. then untap and attack on your next turn for the finish.

swerve is new. this was awesome back in the day. nowadays people will just use boros fury shield (though this one is also non-combat damage)

agree with forgeling. ultratog, did you just forget about combat...? SOMEone needs to play more casual magic

Swerve needs blue, this doesn't, big thing with this guy is that it's amazing in multi-player games. If someone is being ignored or they have a nasty critter that's sitting there doing mean things, use this when a different opponent attacks and redirect the damage where YOU want it :D

just how much mana do you need to make it useful? and keeping it untapped just for it? thats what i'm talking about

"You... you're despicable. Are you saying that you changed the karma ball into positive energy and used my own weapon to destroy the negative energy that was covering the earth!?" "Hey. Check out the big brain on Omega."

@SavageBrain89 Swerve has less applications. You can't redirect combat damage with Swerve. Also with red/white you get double cleave for the next turn after they alpha strike.
