Plus, Edge of the Divinity can only be cast on a black creature or a white creature for any results - and you can't choose to give a white creature the +2/+1 effect over the +1/+2 effect, and vice versa.
Seriously guys, just don't run Edge of the Divinity unless you're going to have targets that are both black and white. Trust me, I've tried.

Unlike the Holy Armor, this one at least looks :holy: It's not amazing but my retro white weenie deck does have two of these in, for old times sake. It does help a 1/1 block a bit more. It's worth bearing in mind that White had a lot of Banding creatures in that era, and a Toughness 3 critter in a band gives a lot of flexibility.
