Ok by himself , but meant to be played in an Heartless summoning deck . Many cards were added to the pool of cards that would be good with it with Return to Ravnica , and some taken away ..... Play him with Heartless summoning and he becomes a 1/2 for 1 , then activate Unleash and put that 1/1 back on , thus getting a 2/3 "vanilla " for B!

Three mana for a 3/4? Yeah, that's not bad at all. I'm not saying it'll see play outside of Limited, but it could. Okay, it couldn't. But it almost could. It almost could!

Remember that this guy is a zombie too, a very useful tribe. Diregraf Captain can pump him up, as well as Rooftop Storm getting him out for free. This strategy will probably become better once the House Dmir guild comes out in Gate Crash and you can combine cards from the different guilds =)
