Not sure who you're talking to but, I don't know too many people that hate on boardwipes in EDH.

@greg2367 I am the only one in my casual magic group who agrees with you. Powerful, but harder to maximize than cataclysm.

There is seldom a majority of people at a table who would NOT like a board wipe.

@greg2367: When I was first learning EDH, I was taught "there is always another board wipe coming. Always. in two turns or ten, a board wipe is coming. The goal is ending the game before the next one"

@ Nayban
I wonder what her name is in this card. Hmm.... If only the card were named after her. Hmm......... And... like, if the flavour text made some clue of some sort...
Dammit Wizards, why do you make these things so hard for beginners such as me and my friend, Nayban?

There's nothing wrong with board wipes, but the deck with a million of them is nothing short of irritating. Not a good theme to build your deck around.

To all who read this: STOP HATING BOARD-WIPES IN EDH. They are doing a public service and de-clogging the board. HELP END THE HATE TODAY.
EDIT: @ ridiculousricky, who said " @greg2367: When I was first learning EDH, I was taught "there is always another board wipe coming. Always. in two turns or ten, a board wipe is coming. The goal is ending the game before the next one" " ^they taught you well, son. That's very true. And I'm usually that guy, for better or worse.
Epilogue: My biggest problem with clogged boards is that it makes everyone take even longer with their turns, as they have to carefully consider everyone else's blockers, everyone's possible attacks, possible removal spells, on-board tricks such as Mimic Vat or the enchantments in play... Yeesh.
