Why not? Later in the game, you're bound to have an unused forest.

If you have an unused forest, why not use it for Giant Growth, or, nowadays, a Primal Bellow?

I wasn't really all that excited when this was one of my Uncommons from my first Prophecy pack. At the very least, this is one of the better things in the cycle...

Forbidden Lore gives +2/+1 for the same cost.

@TDL - Because you've already got your four of each of those?

@Alsebra: Not to mention, once this thing comes down, as long as the land stays intact, you've got a repeatable, dependable effect (the other two are somewhat dependent on the RNG liking you). Good if you're in this for the long haul.

(sigh) Then again, I wonder if most players nowadays have any use for the long haul...
