yea i like that idea. its a good 1 drop the only problem is that you cant actually play it on the 1st turn if you want to keep it. you could always try to find some reason to send it to the grave or just have a spell that will bring it back later.
I can see a good removal strategy with Grave Pact for midgame. If you have a Dark Ritual in your starting hand, you can actually play one of these and another one-drop on turn 1. 3/5.

I LOVED this card with Ray of Command. They were simpler times.
I just like having a 3/1 B regenerate. Sac some not so good creature, all good.
I run in a Mercenary/Skeleton deck. Grab some terrible merc, turn it into a real creature.
Good.

Actually has a good regen cost. Can be aggressive with a 3/1.

This is one of my favorite card card all around. I love the art. The flavor text is also cool. I like cards that reference Lim-Dûl.

@ZEvilMustache Me too! This was one of my favorite Ice Age cards. My old deck when I first started during 4th Ed./Ice Age looked something like: This card Sorceress Queen Norritt Krovikan Vampire Ray of Command Soul Kiss Mistfolk Counterspell Plus other assorted counterspells and Control Magic. I only owned one sorceress queen but I bought another because I liked the combo of taking creatures with the vampire and Norritt. For such a cheap deck, it played decent.

These are cool dudes. And the Melissa Benson artwork is brilliant.
This, like Accursed centaur, can be good for "borrowing" effects (eg/ ray of command).
