Play Urza's Saga Contamination with Bitterblossom instead. You only lose 1 life per upkeep and you don't have to lock down your own mana.

That's maybe... not the best way to make an artwork for what is supposed to be a really dark card.

It's a giant Demon in the process of literally stealing the sun. Doesn't get much darker than that. Unless they just left the picture black. How much more black can you get? None, none more black.

This card won a lot of games for me in a black artifact deck. drain life and corrupt to keep it out and stop counter spells.
