Sweet, a new John Avon land! Time to play "spot the people that he hid to avoid Wizards' 'no people in land art' rule!"

Nice resort. Reminds me of Shadow of Colossus kind of architecture.

I've been waiting for this.

I just wish the purple/green didn't clash so horribly with the orange-yellow.

Yeah, when a card is this awesome, where even the art is awesome, I nitpick the color palette.

Yay, opposite-colored dual lands! It's about time opposing colors got some more love.

Boros duel lands are good duel lands.

Has anyone else noticed it's resemblance to Le Mont Saint Michel? It looks almost the same, besides an extra tower or two.
Look at the World of Innistrad product page to see a bigger picture of the card art.

It's a decent card too.

And thus, Tiberius stayed in his Clifftop Retreat in Capri for a year or so, and did a lot of things with little boys that would make a Kindercatch cack in his kidnapping bag.

This will be the second most sought after Innistrad land, after the Black-Green one.
Two words:
Boros. Hogwarts.

EDIT: I've decided I need to get a foil one of these signed by J.K. Rowling. It might be harder to get her signature than Christopher Rush, but it would really be Totally Awesome.

One of my favorite John Avon artworks, right up there with my most beloved cards (artwork-wise), Waterveil Cavern.

Whenever I make a deck, I try my hardest to only include John Avon cards

Does Sacred Foundry qualify as a Mountain and Plains to allow this card come in to play untapped?

Real curious as to whether dual lands in opposing colors will continue to be supported after Innistrad cycles out. I hope so, just to keep the game flexible and interesting.

Lord_Sun_Fin-

Sacred Foundry does let this enter the battlefield untapped. The subtype of Sacred Foundry is Mountain Plains, so it qualifies as a Mountain and a Plains. Thats whats so great about the shocklands. Hope this helps!

Stunning art and a great dual land to boot.
