Intimidate started it's life in red as Skirk Shaman and I think it fits best in it.

I think I really like this card, though I'd prefer the art to be shifted to the left.

This will be a very lovely card to have in Limited as it has quasi-unblockability and pumps itself up. However, since you can't actually rate a card for a format that will be dead in two years, this card is actually pretty marginal. If it had cost RRR it might have been a contender for a mono-red deck in Standard; as is, I don't think it cuts it for a 4-mana creature.

I'd be intimidated too if that chick was headed toward me...

I like this card as I think intimidate is a very underrated ability. Pair it up with vampire tribal and you have got yourself a game.

Eternal_Blue You can actually rate a card off of any criteria you want. They don't actually require a reason.

You don't see many plural creature names these days. Awkward with "put a +1/+1 counter on it."

Not as bad as others are saying. I run this in a Olivia Vampire EDH deck and intimidate should really read as unblockable - very few people run red in EDH, and artifact creatures are vulnerable to all the artifact hate in red. For 4 I get an increasingly bigger vampire (Even bigger with all the vampire buffs out there) that demands a response, and helps get the bloodthirst triggers for Bloodlord of Vaasgoth every turn. Solid card.

Combo with Volcanic Strength. Now you have an unblockable 4\2 that grows bigger with each swing...

@NoobOfLore: BLACK-TO-RED ART REVIEW: This card, despite having a double-red mana cost, has largely black art. The art is highlighted by the red outlines of the vampires, but has an alarming amount of dark pigment that dominates the picture. Thus, I'm rating it a 2/5 for a total color ratio trainwreck.

@Shieldman
The art is actually largely monochromatic, with varying tints and shades of red throughout. The primary figure is created through the highly saturated red hue of the vampire's dress. The secondary figure of the male vampire is created in the same way. The ground contains low brightness reds and very little actual black and doesn't dominate the image because of the aforementioned primary and secondary figures.
TL;DR The art is red.

I agree with sorenssen. Haste would make this card awesome, but whenever I get it out, it's often too late to make a difference. For now I have swapped it out for vampire nocturnus. 3.5/5

In a vampire deck, this creature is terrifying. Pair it with stromkirk captain and watch it decimate non-red decks.

I just pulled this cute couple in tandem with Necropolis Regent matchmaker hosting a Blue/White party with no artifact creatures in attendance-the Heirs enjoyed a romantic dinner at the other guests' expense-they complimented the Regent on the particularly invigorating Ragu served at her table.
