Why would the effect remove Red Ward? Red Ward isn't even red! Maybe they just realized they made a mistake with White Ward and fixed it, and the wanted the other Wards to keep their symmetry. But still, it's unnecessary.

One of the better Wards, along with Black Ward, but still not worthwhile. Your creature will probably get bolted in response to this card. For one mana more you could sideboard a Kor Firewalker if you really need help against red.

I love the fact that they felt the need to specify that it never destroys itself. Was Chaoslace overpowered? Why shouldn't someone be able to destroy this by changing its color or the color of the protection it grants?
