Look up MaRo's article Here's the Kicker (Making Magic, 11 June 2007) to learn why this card doesn't have Kicker.

Well to find that article you would have had to link it lol...
but its kind of obvious since to kick it you'd have to cast it first, then kick it as you cast, and the abilities on kicker usually apply after being kicked

If you play this card, watch out. A ton of pre-teen girls might appear out of nowhere, looking for the imaginary love of their life.

A deck with 4 Kokusho, the Evening Star, and a bunch of other creatures that cause life loss when they enter the battlefield, Tramatize your self then play this. Now proceed to laugh maniacally, you just won!

Works well with creature heavy decks, as well as those who mill everyone and employ a lot of graveyard hate. In any case, I like. Chances are, if I'm using this card, I'm making sure that I get more out of the deal than anyone else.

About that "pay 2 for instant speed"-Cycle (consisting of Rout,Breaking Wave, this, Ghitu Fire and Saproling Symbiosis):
They actually could have made these cards have kicker easily.
Make the Sorceries Instants instead, give them "Kicker 2" and simply add the restriction "Counter CARDNAME if the kicker cost wasn't payed to cast it."
Would make it kind of a reverse kicker, but use the kicker keyword. Back then during the Invasion cycle it wasn't that relevant, but if these were intended to be Kicker cards it would have been preferable to have them with this wording for future cards that interact with that ability, like Rumbling Aftershocks.

There had better be a darn good reason why morality shift wasn't in the comments.

No, why nuke your own graveyard. Use Tormod's Crypt.

That flavor text is so BA.

Never mess with the Keldons.

I hate these pathetic bronies that have to make a reference to FIM on everything that has 'twilight' or whatever in its name.
Anyways, glad one of these came with the Izzet vs. Golgari duel decks. I was working on a reanimate deck based around Teneb, the Harvester and decided to put this in. Really fun since I play a ton of multi-player.
