Kill a weenie or make something difficult to block. Note that black is more likely to have low toughness for this to kill! The -1/-1 helps against skeletons and the fear helps against other decks. Nice to be able to to turn this into a Birds of Paradise killer

Evasion (in the form of fear) when you need it, removal when you don't...anything that kills stuff for {B} is okay by me... even if it has to be X/1 and is at sorcery speed...
