Why is this red, and Living Wall is an Artifact???

This wall is red because the original idea of the card was a natural mountain formation of stone like a cliffwall.

Wall of Frost says hi...but then again, it is a different color...
Still basically prevent one attacking creature a turn from dealing damage to you. That's quite nice, especially since red doesn't get good defenders.

Perhaps the biggest flaw with the wall creature type is that all walls are bound by the same "can only block 1 creature" rule as other creatures. I mean, if a wall stretches all the way into the horizon in both directions, it's downright unflavorful for the rest of the creatures it can't block to simply walk around it.
If walls aren't ever going to attack (unless you do something crazy like rolling stones or some such), I think it's perfectly reasonable to let them block more than one creature. Very few walls have more than 2 power, and almost all of them have 0. I'm not saying all walls should be able to block all creatures, but maybe just 1 additional creature would be nice and people would actually use walls in non-casual games.

In my opinion, all walls should have a built in palace guard ability. But thats just me. It makes sense, to seize the castle you need to send your whole army at the wall.

Chan squinted at the ground and tried to ignore the laughter from the wall above him. Not only had the invasion failed, but he had picked a terrible place to lose a content lens.
