A classic red card. It's not as strong as the mythic rare Comet Storm, or the format-warping common Rolling Thunder, true, but it is still quite useful. Fireball is one of many cards from Alpha that isn't too strong nor too weak to fit into today's game, evidenced by its reprinting in each of Magic 2010, Magic 2011 and Magic 2012. I don't know about you, but this card is usually a first or second pick in draft for me.
