Why is this Aether Adept rated lower? I'm glad to see she's reprinted.

Plus, cooler flavor text

Venser, shaper savant's little sister. This card is just so lovable to me! Evoke would be just awesome though...

Possibly the best blue common in M12 for limited.

I still love her to death. I'm not sure if she's still my favorite blue common yet, but we'll see.

Interesting note: I bounce my own creatures with her more than I bounce my opponent's. I love the combo with gilded drake and sun titan; reusable mind control is just silly.

2/2 Unsummon 3cmc? Not bad.

Who wants a wizard when you can have a jellyfish?

strictly less cool than man-o'-war

I tried to playtest a beatdown standoff between White and Blue deck in M12. My opponent slip a couple of this card into mono-blue illusion deck, and they are really annoying (even more with the illusions efficiency).

Another boomerang great....my deck is never safe against blue.

I can't help but feel like this is blue's wannabe Gatekeeper of Malakir. At least they could have made her UU with a 1 kicker.

For UU1 I expect a card draw cantrip and hexproof.

Everyone loves Magical Trevor

'Cause the tricks that he does are ever so clever

Look at him now, disappearin' a cow

Where is the cow? Hidden right now.

I like this in Skaab Ruinator decks: if it gets milled or you chump with it after casting, it just becomes Ruinator food.

This won me a lot of games at M12 prerelease. Got three phantasmal bear and two adepts, and I was pretty fast, whilst other players needed to summon creatures twice... while bears kept kicking. Lovely in limited. Hardly playable anywhere else.

1BlueBlue is probably a more appropriate cost for this body/ability, sorry Man-o'-war

I utilize this in my Venser, the Sojourner deck. Once you trip Vener's ultimate ability you simply have Aether Adept target itself and cast it 3 times a turn.

Also works with Venser to level up his counters, bounce the adept target their creatures.

Bounce is awesome. Wizard creatures are awesome. All kinds of hate on this, it's in my standard.

Strictly sexier than Man-O'-War.

Unless you are a person of... divergent tastes.

This plus Riku of Two Reflections is really good. Infibounce! (use Riku's second ability to copy it, and have the copy bounce the first one. The first one can still bounce other things) It still costs five per turn but it can be a pretty good makeshift way to temporarily lock down an opponent.

Slightly better then Peel from Reality
Stealth.

It's like she's holding the essence of a Man-O'-War in hand. Her ultimate idol.

no one seems to notice the reason this is costed differently than man-o-war is relevant creature typing, right? :P

Yay, an Unsummon Bear for blue. They really needed something like this for a long time. It's not really good per se, but to marry to the two cards finally is nice.
