Always nice to have this, 6 mana available, and a 9 or 10 cost eldrazi in hand...

Good in the set it was printed in. Cast this on turn six to have the mana for your eldrazi or other big threat on turn seven. Next turn sac it to gain a bunch of cards and hopefully keep the pressure on.

Not so great in a world without eldrazi, though.
