Ah. Bituminous Blast. A Flame Slash that goes and gets another spell.

How do I tell this site to add something to the rulings:

It seems people think Cascade means you may basically cast any card with lower CMC in your library. They word "may" refers to casting the card only if you want to; not that if you don't want to, then you may keep exiling cards until another card with meeting criteria is revealed. Cascade rulings never say this!
In Alara, MTG states that Cascade grants you a free spell but you DON'T KNOW what's it's going to be! If you keep exiling cards after the first available free spell is revealed, then essentially this contradicts MTG's statement because you would pretty much KNOW which spell you would get!
The reason the rulings say "may" is because for example the spell may have an ability you do not desire (for instance, "destroy all creatures"); the purpose of "may" is not "or keep on searching."

If you decide not to play the first nonland card revealed with lower CMC, then Cascade is completed. Put all the exiled cards on the bottom of your library in a random order and you got to play no free spell.

This ability is not among the MTG's newest. Back then, MTG didn't come up with cards that were "just too easy" and then gave them the excuse that... "oh, but it's mythic rare."

@lorendorky: I would like to see your comment font shifted to mono-non-obnoxious in any setting but bold!!!!

@AXER No, of course not. They printed things that were "just too easy" and said, "Oh, but it's rare." And then we had the Power Nine. And then Necropotence. And then Yawmoth's Will.

(edit) I would like to see this color-shifted to mono-red at 3RR.

did you notice that others on this are in bold? I think it's a bug cuz I certainly didn't intend on bold.

Hmm...I'm not sure if this can pop out creatures on your opponent's turn, but if it can it would be much more powerful. Still, card advantage is still card advantage, and this is smack-dab at the premier mana cost of CA spells at 5 mana.

I've been hit with this into Bloodbraid Elf into Blightning...
In EDH

also, why is everything here bold?

Creature removal + free cards = Card advantage. Although +1 c.a. usually costs like three (seeDivination and Mind Rot), but since cascade actually let you play the spell for free, and this is an instant, I guess this costing 3BlackRed is fair enough.

I'm sorry, but you aren't going to just add things to the ruling like that. It doesn't need to be there, for the sole reason that if they were to add a new ruling every time some beginner tried to do something with a card that the card doesn't say it does, cards would be covered in rulings. Cards do what they say they do. Period. Sometimes it's not clear due to being wordy, or, more commonly what they do while another card is doing something else might also not be clear. That's when a ruling is necessary.
