I'm so going to make an extended and/or casual deck using this guy and Primal Cocoon. Rampant Growth on a stick!

It's not "on a stick" its a creature so it's "on legs"!!! On a stick means in artifact form usually by Isochron scepter;
when will you people get your slang right?

A creature with two Rampant Growths, at most. No, just kidding. Adding counters will make it useful, though.

It's standing on a branch in the picture. I guess that counts as a stick...

Nice, "target player". Now my teammates can search for land. Or I can mess with peoples heads in multiplayer. Heck, it doesn't say target player may. So BOOM, "Archive Trap". God, I would never ever play this card. I'm a Timmy, not a Johnny, but dang.

pretty dece blue-green mill deck using this. load up on this, archive traps and trapmakers snares and you've got one hell of a combo; if you have fertilid in play and manage to pull out all four archive traps into your hand with the snares, then you can just hit them with fertilid's activated ability to force them to search and BAM! all four traps for 0 mana, mill for 52 in one turn.

only downside is the amount of turns it might take to pull out all the cards you need. not to mention those anti-mill cards like ulamog, elixir and blightsteel; although, if you're feeling pretty ballsy, you can also load up on leyline of the void and hope you pull one (maybe two) in your starting hand so you can play them for no cost. that would deal with the blights and ulamogs pretty easily. and if you're smart, you can always counter an elixir before it ever hits the field. but then that just gets really confusing, with all the things you're trying to do at the same time.

still, seeing a combo like that would be pretty intense.

Slang is defined entirely by common usage, so "on a stick" is perfectly okay, just like "on legs".
