Something like this would work onRuhan of the Fomori . Did manage to drop it on an Eldrazi, worth the fun of watching a giant kill it's owner, if it attacks you, nice control card vs big creatures in multi player.

Backfire is very efficient and very effective in multi-player games.

Other players having dangerous creatures is much less of a problem when you are not in their target set.

Is this more of a white effect, black effect, or a red effect?

Feels like we need a color-shifted reprint, possibly with flash. My guess is Red, Black, or Red/Black as you still take the damage.
