Shouldn't the Oracle Text be something like:
Choose One - Destroy all lands; or Destroy all creatures. They can't be regenerated.

No, because Catastrophe doesn't prevent land regeneration, for what its worth. The oracle text in this case is fine.

Anyway, Catastrophe gets 5/5 for playability, art and flavor - all matching up into a perfect whole.

The "choose one"-clause is actually only needed when a card has two different effects, like healing leaves or journey of discovery. In this case, we have two "destroy" effects, so the "choose one" version would be inferior to this one.

It prevents land regen in the case of an animated land.

Why is this white?

I can understand Armageddon and Wrath of God as purifying effects. But a catastrophe is nature going crazy - even if it is caused by angels bickering ^^

Regardless of flavour, this card is really awesome. If you don't have board advantage, you can gain it by blowing up creatures. If you do have board advantage, you can secure it by destroying lands.

we were near the bottom of our decks, I not only had a bunch of creatures cast, only half my mana had so far come to the surface. My opponent had lost his creatures blocking. I used Catastrophe to kill all land. I owned the game at that point because he had about 3 mana remaining in his entire deck. Excellent card.
