Cards like this, and Limited formats in general, are why I don't just outright despise white. Such a beating in Limited to suddenly have a 3/3 flyer breathing down your neck and clocking you.

This card did absolute wonders for me at the Scars prerelease. It was a fine, if below the curve, card for the early game but a good draw in the late (assuming of course that there are at least three artifacts in play at the time). And generally one of those were equipments, usually allowing me to fly over for a winning kill. I know this seems like just another prerelease story that doesn't ever happen but this card actually won me the majority of my games. Nonetheless, its completely constructed unplayable.

Absolutely viscious in the right hands, went 0-2 against a guy who pulled 3 of these, kinda interested to see how much constructed play it will see

Unlike most other cards with metalcraft, which either are slightly below average without it. are artifacts themselves, or cost 4+cc this one is absolute junk without metalcraft. And you might end with hand of three sunchasers and single artifact...
Still, metalcraft makes it nice in limited, just take care to dose it right.

Useless crap. Should have been a 2/2 for cmc3 or a 3/3 for cmc4.

It's useless during the first turns as it is in the same slot as any myr. Later on, a 3/3 isn#t such a great thing either, especially with all the infect out their.

The flavor text on this card totally reminds me of Fuel by Metallica.

Useful in limited, not in constructed.

Only a 3.5? seeing how easy metalcraft ability is to attain, I gave it a 4.5 since it saved me in limited so many times. usually one of the artifacts goes directly on her to she's even a bigger, pumped up flier.

Great with cranial plating, better than carapace forger. In artifact decks such as affinity this will hit the battlefield as a 3/3 flyer. Where else can you get a 3/3 flyer for two mana? By turn 2 or turn 3 in solid artifact decks this is a sure 3/3. And cranial plating just makes it that much sweeter. What's not to like?

Ratings:
5/5 for decks with mostly artifacts
4/5 for decks with some artifacts

Awesome card in the right decks.

I think this can be deceptively powerful in the right deck, just like Ardent Recruit.

Ya, for sure. This and Ardent Recruit are great cards for any artifact/white deck. So cheap and they soon prove their worth.
