It's cards like this that make no one take the Legends set seriously, and that includes me. I wish I could give him a 0/5. What I really can't believe is how they actually put this guy in Masters Edition 2. Honestly, I wish that inanimate pieces of cardboard could experience death so that I may rip this waste of ink to pieces.

@nammertime: This is bad even by old standards. 4/4 for 5cmc wasn't good, it was just the average. Each of the basic Elementals was still better than that, for example. What makes this card insulting is that not only is it two-color, but also a legend. So that's two drawbacks with no benefit to outweigh. Compare this to Gwendlyn Di Corci, who costs one less mana, has the same total power/toughness, and comes with an awesome ability.

Andrion's (alleged) advantage over Serra Angel and Water Elemental appears to be that he could take advantage of Cathedral of Serra and Seafarer's Quay. As I mentioned on that land cycle, the original intent was likely that you would include those lands as a matter of course, so your included legends could form an adventuring party of sorts. Problem? They over-estimated the efficacy of banding.

Possibly the most hated EDH commander in the history of Magic. Tobias decks are the most challenging decks to go up against. When Tobias is out he swings for a full 4!!! Very few Magic players are prepared for such carnage.
