Remind me again why I'd want to tap my 5/4 creature to produce U when I presumably already have six mana, including at least one U.

Maybe you just actually played Riven Turnbull, and you only have one blue mana left, and your opponent plays some devastating spell. You can tap her and your Island and, boom, Counterspell!

Yeah, I'm not sure why they made this card either. At least it's better than a vanilla legend.

I think one star works with her so I give her *
You know, she's actually sort of cool. Aesthetically, she is neat. That's about it though.

I'd want to build a killer EDH deck around one of these awful generals, just to hear people say, "You're playing with who?"

If there would be a random ability to this creature, what better ability than to ramp up to Commandeer/Riven Turnbull mana?

The name reminds me of Lucretia Crescent from Final Fantasy VII.
The artwork reminds me of the Evil Queen from Disney's Snow White.
The stats remind me of Chimney Imp.

That's three reasons to chuckle when seeing this card.

The flavor behind this boggles the mind.

Compare to Radha, Heir to Keld, another legendary creature who can tap for mana. It's more a sign of how far creatures have come, I suppose, but Radha's mana ability actually makes sense in light of her CMC. Ramping up from 2 is quite handy; ramping up from 6 is a bit silly, though.

I'll say this about her ability: it certainly helps you suspend disbelief that she's not named after Lucretia Borgia.

Nah. Typical Legends creature. But like nammertime said, better than being vanilla.

WotC knew that people hated vanilla legends like Jedit Ojanen, so they thought, and thought, and thought, and thought.

An hour later, one of the staff members said "F**K it! Give it a mana-gaining ability!"
Another said, "But wouldn't it be too costly to just get 1 mana for something that costs 6 converted mana?"
The first replied, "Yeah, but who cares? The little bastrds are going to buy these cards anyway!"
And the whole room erupted in a roar of laughter in their giant gothic castle while the music begins to play dramatically and lightning strikes down.

What? Oh, don't look at me like that. That's totally what happened.

Wizards needs to seriously check the mana costs and CMC of Cards in the Gatherer, because it seems some of these cards oracle wording say they are at the wrong mana costs, and CMCs. It's also weird that so far, they are black and blue cards.

Wow, a creature with a casting cost of 6 which I can tap to produce an entire one blue mana? Where do I sign up?
