I like the "if it was kicked" wording, but it does seem strange at first.

I agree with Zarcron. In fact i love it :) I'm content about new Kor creatures, aside from Kithkin we have Human as white race on many Planes most of the time.
Kicker was always a very versatile ability, and if the kicker cost is going to have the same mana cost the card gets even more interesting.
The card itself is playable in general. Also a new nice choice for Cleric decks.

Card advantage is nice. This isn't the most agressive creature, but having a Naturalize attached to a creature that can block a lot of early creatures is very handy. When it first came out it was seen in the sideboards of quite a few UW control decks (particularly during Worldwake when super-Jace first made a splash), and did its job well.

The "if it was kicked" option makes a lot of these cards balanced. For example, Gatekeeper of Malakir would be horribly broken in a Momentary Blink deck if he didn't require kicking. However, kicker dudes are very nice in some sort of Blood Clock build.
