Wrong, Dragon23. This guy puts it into the field not into the hand, so it accelerates. More importantly it looks for a FOREST which means it can find the ravnica shock lands (Temple garden) or the alpha dual lands (tropical island) which makes him great for mana fixing.

Very nice art. Most of the time Llanowar Elves are better, but this fetches Forests (so dual and shock lands are fair game) and puts them into play untapped. That's value.
