If he's a cleric, he's one of the least clericy-looking clerics of all time.

Or you could play Rhox War Monk. No offense to this guy, though, I love the crazy-weird Legends folks.

I like the random bird in the background. It has no business being there; it just is, and there is nothing we can do to stop it.
At least this guy has a background. Lots of cards back in the day had solid color bgs.

In my ideal MTG Metal band, Garruk is lead singer/backup guitar, Sarkhan is drummer, Sorin is keyboarder, Chandra is bassist and this guy is lead guitar. I mean, look at him.

Is it me, or is that bird kind of in the style of the Thundercats logo? Ohh... "Thunderbirds!"

One time I was playing Commander against my uncle's legendary based deck, and it was getting late and we were a bit tipsy from how late it was getting and all.
Then on the radio, it started playing "Baby love"
I saw this guy on my uncle's field and just heard Ragnar singing the song.
XD What a boss.

There is no more conclusive proof that "Legends" was designed with the team's D&D characters in mind than this card.

Obviously only a D&D character would claim it's a "Creature-Cleric" but look like "Legendary Creature- Heavy Metal Viking Warrior Barbarian with Chuck-Strike and Protection from Gods"

The name also looks just so D&D-ish, but I can't quite say why. It just does.

He should be T: regenerate target creature. Cool art though. I agree he could be in a Norwegian metal band.

Oh, there once was a hero named Ragnar the Red
Who came riding to Whiterun from old Rorikstead

And the braggart did swagger and brandish his blade
As he told of bold battles and gold he had made

But then he went quiet, did Ragnar the Red
When he met the shield-maiden Matilda, who said;

"Oh, you talk and you lie and you drink all our mead
Now I think it's high time that you lie down and bleed!"

And so then came clashing and slashing of steel
As the brave lass Matilda charged in, full of zeal

And the braggart named Ragnar was boastful no more-
When his ugly red head rolled around on the floor!

Well that's interesting. His cost is GWU in oracle, UWG on the card, and the generally correct order is WUG. It's like he walked up and tore his mana costs up so no one could figure out how much they cost.

@NARF, you are wrong, the generally correct order is GWU, as that would take the least to travel around the pie in a clockwise order and hit them all.
