$10 for a playset isn't really SO much.
Back when this set came out I had this in a deck with Seismic Mage, fun combo but not that great early.

The word nabob, which has its origins in the Hindi word, nawab, refers to a rich or influential person. It was originally used to describe a European who had made a lot of money in an eastern country, especially India.

What's a nabob? Is it someone who eats bugs, like Squee?
He was a cabin-boy on the Weatherlight. He cooked, clean, and shot a cannon. How good was he at that? He only took down Volrath's ship single-handedly. He also convinced the entirety of Mercadia to back off the Weatherlight crew, because he's so intelligent. Oh, and he get's captured by Crovax and killed, before coming back to life because he's immortal.
Crovax sent him into the chambers, where Ertai killed him dead so many times he got exhausted and had to recharge at a mana battery, which Squee overloaded and killed Ertai with.
Then he gets scooped up by Gerrard, and later lives through the whole ship getting smashed into the ocean.
Yeah. Stupid goblin my foot.

He was everyone's favourite punching-bag on the Weatherlight, but he ended up being the most useful card out of any one of them.
How d'ya like that?

11/17/2009 10:22:51 AM i don't understand why this card sells for so much...
Edit: @Magasul: yea, i get it's use, especially with Zombie infestation, but what i don't get how it's valued at $10 (when i posted this back in 2009) when it was reprinted so many times. and now again in modern masters.

The best character in the whole Invasion story arc, should have been a planeswalker.
