Noob question but would this include red or black lands as well? Or is it only permanents with a red or black mana symbol in their casting cost?

i think purge is better, because it can demolish artefacts as well, but still with path of exile, doomblade, terminate, and so on and on i don`t see a reason to put this in my deck

This is also good against red or black planeswalkers. This is probably a sideboard card.

No, lands are colorless. The mana cost is what determines something's color (unless, obviously, a card ,such as Niveous Wisps, causes it to be a certain color). Celestial Purge costs one white mana and one colorless mana, this makes it's color white. If a card has multiple mana colors then it is multiple colors. Since lands have no mana cost they are therefore colorless.
And I agree, Celestial Purge owns Deathmark (although I still wouldn't mind having Deathmark my sideboard).

Great sideboard card for white.

ok, so this can only hit red and black cards, where as boom blade can hit any non black creature
but this can hit enchantment, artifacts, and planeswalkers as well as creatures, and it hits black things, unlike doomblade

It's a great feeling when you're facing down an Ajani Vengeant with enough counters for his ultimate and you draw in to this card.

I don't even think it has to be a sideboard card with all the Jund decks, but still just to be safe.

I love the flavor text. I want to be a lightwielder so very badly.

This thing wrecks Jund, Grixis, Vampires, RDW, and other similar decks. It's basically an instant speed O-Ring for 1 less mana, which is crazy against some decks that need their stuff to die at instant speed (like Hell's Thunder, Vampire Noctournus and Bloodbraid Elf (sometimes), as well as dealing with Sprouting Thrinax, any vampire card (save for the bane of any white deck, Malakir Bloodwhitch), 3 of the wwk manlands, any B/R planeswalker, enchantment or even Artifact if needed. Put some in sb for white decks and you shant be dissapointed.

I don't follow how you could fathom rating this below a 5. Exile. Instant. PERMANENT.

Found this with Random Card then I clicked Random Card again and came up with Shifting Sky almost as if it knew and was trying to tell me something.
