Not even rudimentally as ravaging as that Ravager we are thinking of when we hear that noun in magic.
Nonetheless it's still a lot more playable than Frozen Shade, and the artwork is a nice one, too. (Yet that actually looks like an animal - an Elemental Beast or something)

The art makes it appear as though it should be a lot bigger than its stats say it is.
Why is this just an Elemental and not an Elemental Beast? Geyser Glider is an Elemental Beast, and Hellfire Mongrel is an Elemental Hound.

I like this guy because he has a toughness of 4. His best use is as a defender, and then you can crank him up to hit somebody late game.

I'm not sure if I should run him in Devastating Red. He seems to work well, but I'm not sure.

This guy wins games. He chumps up the block from turn 3, and can smash opponents with rediculous power later on. And if he gets killed, well, your not out much.
