Looks like Wizards wasn't content with the name of the Future Sight version, huh?
Glad to see that one in the Core Set, though.
I always wondered why Trained Armodon needed to be double-green.

Basic 3/3 for three, eh. The art of the environment is definitely cool.

I dunno, this is better than it seems, a 3/3 turn 3 in a Casual circle is pretty great. Sure, it dies soon, but by then it's stalled for some bomb rare. I like this one a lot.

Mode: The Future Sight version was Futureshifted, so, you know...

Solid green aggro. Nothing more, nothing less. No tricks to make it constructed-viable, but an unbelievably solid pick in limited.

I like this. It's not flashy or gimmicky, It's as simple as it needs to be. The artwork is great too.

A 3/3 for 3 isn't terrible, it's just average. Still, having 4 toughness would have a lot more relevance in a format where Lightning Bolt is running rampant.

Regardless, I'm not a fan of vanilla.

Considering they're still printing the equivalent of Hill Giants in the other colors, this is pretty solid.

I can't see him being able to take down a giant elephant...it's be like Legolas taking down an Oliphant...oh right...

Centaurs are indeed awesome. I'd like for a set to delve more into Centaurs and away from Evles....tired of elves...

I love the art and flavor for this card

In singleton and pauper/peasant formats, vanilla creatures can often help to keep your creature base solid in terms of P/T distribution.

Lastly, in casual and multiplayer formats, vanilla creatures are often underestimated. A turn 3 Centaur Courser might be ignored in multiplayer, while a Spawnwrithe will attract attention.

Ahhh heck enough with the justification, I just have a soft spot for vanilla creatures.

i like this card. nice art, and efficient creature for weenie decks. u can enchant it or pump it later for relevance in the late-game.
