@gasimakos: you would need to use the mana before the combat phase was up. otherwise it would just disappear.

ferguson's art is the only cool one of the set. this really is a somewhat decent card... i suppose you could block some bigger creature during your opponent's attack, tap and sacrifice for mana, and then play some instant. there might be some rule change that screws that up though, i dont know.

The second and third artworks on this card are very cartoony and not as good as the other two.
This would be a fine card to play in casual but there are just better cards to use than this. I would use this in set or block though.

Outclassed by Blood Vassal, though not strictly worse. You can attack with Blood Vassal, then sac on your second main phase, so I consider that to be the superior card, despite cost 1 more.
