Not half bad! I mean, only useful 40% of the time, but why not have it as a sideboard card?

With Jund, Bushwhacker Boros, Elves, Goblins, RDW, as well as some others using red and or green creatures, seems pretty main deck-able to me.

I actually forgot this card even existed until I was looking through my commons for a few Negates lol!

As already mentioned, this seems like a fantastic sideboard card in the post-Zendikar meta. For one mana you're essentially taking one of the many very relevant creatures that it can target out of the game. Broodmate Dragon? No thanks! Bloodbraid Elf? Goodbye!

Although on one note this would be susceptable to Maelstrom Pulse, which is bad, but still, for one mana it might have a place in some decks sideboards.

This can't possibly be rated so low. It was printed in a 3-5 color block, where 4 out of 5 decks had red or green creatures. Paying {U} to stop Wild Nacatl, Goblin Guide, Knight of the Reliquary, . . . This seems like an absurdly good sideboard card, much like Flashfreeze.

Cheap and useful, but only against certain decks.

On the flavor text, that seems like really dumb last name for a Viashino. It's like Jim Tenfingers, Todd Opposablethumbs, or Stanley Sitsuponhisbutt.
