Vigilance would be nice, so you can neatly attack and still have your big-butted blocker available. Then if you pump her with equipment or enchantments, she's that much better.
As for her being tormented, I asked the same thing when I compared this card to Wayward Angel on the latter card's page, and izzet_guild_mage explained that she is tormented by the destruction of Serra's Realm by Phyrexia, and her fall from heaven is having to leave the realm to survive. That explanation makes the flavor make much more sense to me, but still this card leaves a sour presence where the flavor could have been on a card worth a slot in a dedicated casual Angel deck. As such, there is great flavor and good art crap.

...and this is why iconically big creatures such as Angels and Dragons should only be printed at uncommon rarity and above. At uncommon we already get decent cards such as Lightkeeper of Emeria and, nowadays, even Serra Angel.

First thing I think when I see here: "Hey look its Marylin Monro" Wow this card is awful. Fun fact, Marylin Monro was a very depressed (Tormented) woman.
