a nice card, and on cost, you pay 1B for a doomblade, and then R for a shock, or you could just do 1BB for both, bloodchief ascention says thank you

this card is awesome. easy to play, destroys a creature and with an added bonus your opponent loses 2 life good card and absolutely awesome especially if u r working on a black majority deck like me.

In most cases doom blade will be better. However this is still awesome for limited, since it's relatively cheap removal, which is never bad.
