But good art wins over nice text usually. At least in my opinion. I'd take this FTV Shivan Dragon over any other, any day. I HATE the M10 art of it. His legs make him look really weak. And the yellow hue is the color of cat barf. Doesn't really scream KING OF THE SKIES, y'know?

Probably the best art would have been an homage to the original (which was pretty sweet especially for its time). Same-ish looking dragon, same perspective, but make it really really kickasz.

I'd play this card in a dragon deck. To hell with it being Shivan Dragon; not playing a card with this art would be a sore shame.

The original version is absolutely iconic. After nearly 20 years, I still win games with Mr. Shivan. All other Dragons are knock-offs. Balanced power, correctly costed,great original art, classic flavor text, and devastating if unblocked...and yes I still run four of these in my Dragon deck!
