This card is absolutely amazing. The only way I could see the kicker being at cheaper is if all creatures got -2/-2.

A bit expensive with the kicker, but often -1/-1 is enough to get the job done...that will kill off all the fast mana critters, River Boas, Plated Geopedes w/o landfall active, and most unboosted goblins.

great card. kicker is absolutely NOT too expensive. this is one sided boardwipe. infest saw play, that was 3 mana, sorcery speed, boardwipe the 2 toughness creatures. this can boardwipe all 1 toughness for 2 mana, or all 2 for 5, ONLY FOR ONE PLAYER. put it this way. they took an ok card and added 2 colorless to the mana cost to hit just one player. So... wrath of god at 4WW to hit only your opponent's creatures? yes please. 4.5/5

This is a really excellent card. Infest was already good at its job. This is a one-sided Infest with options. The kicker cost is not too expensive; it's priced exactly right.

I have found it rather usefull in slowing down my opponents mana accel when they use birds and cobras. Kicker cost is acceptable to me concidering it usually clears the far side of the board for me

This card is a game winner in draft. In a format where the large majority of creatures are 2/2 or less, Marsh Casualties is a selective Wrath of God in black.

I feel tempted to say that the kicker should've been instead of , but then that might just have been too good. Infest is already an amazing card as-is, and having a version of it that could wipe only the creatures opposing yours at the same CMC as Day of Judgment would've sent mono-black vampires over the top.

Infest, infest, infest, how has everyone forgotten the beloved Massacre. Hands down my favourite, simply because I have great memories of that card helping me wipe white weenie when playing my black weenie. Good card though, I've been using it to wipe out elves and annoying birds.

This card is awesome, especially when the other person isn't thinking to play around it. It's easily a 1 for 2, and sometimes much better than that. Plus it'll let you get in the attack you need if they were planning on chump blocking.
