YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! The tri lands rock! Hhmmmm... thats strange, I'm usually not that over energetic about cards. Guess the jungle just evokes the animal out of me.

I agree tri lands are awesome, the tapped part is a bit of a drawback, but only really worth mentioning if you have to play it on your first or second turn. The exact selection of r,g,w on one land works for many decks, especially when paired with savage lands to splash black. Add in trace of abundance, and you can generate all 5 colors in a relativley green oriented deck where thats the most common color. To say nothing of birds of paradise.

As a green mage who also loves green's ally colors, I am overjoyed to see this. Absolutely overjoyed. If it were a mountain forest plains that didn't come into play tapped, I would probably die from all the overjoyfullness.

The only way this land cycle could be any better is if it was a double-cycle, that is to say, if there were a-color-and-it's-opposing-colors tri lands. Possibly they'll be in Rise of the Eldrazi.
Tri-lands havn't exactly been done successfully befor, have they? There was that set in 'Homelands', the Lairs, umm, I think that's all of them.

Ummm... wow. This is an incredible land for 3 color decks. There is virtually no downside to this thing other than losing it for the first turn. Amazing.

here's hoping they make enemy ones...may a 3 colored "bolt" (3 dmg/life) land?

The five tricolor lands of Shards of Alara are direct upgrades of the five tricolor lands of Homelands, with this being an upgrade of An-Havva Township.

These are not upgrades to the Homelands lands; they are closer to the Lair lands where they come into play tapped instead of bouncing another land to your hand. The Homelands lands are closer to filter lands, if anything.

These lands ROCK ! They are probably the best way to get 3 specific mana out of a land. Coming into play tapped is not that big a deal for the ability they provide. Also, at an uncommon rarity, you don't need to spend or trade a lot to get them. It's nice to see the great improvements in lands that produce multiple mana colors.

Well the potential to use this as three types of mana is a great idea. Perfect to make my green white red.

This is about the perfect strength and flexibility. For a casual player. I very much dislike it coming into play tapped, but three colors for every subsequent turn is strong. The big come into play drawback and being printed at uncommon mean these aren't out of reach for those of us that don't want to spend an arm and a leg on lands.

I said it once and I'll say it again Only thing that I can see making this better is Amulet of Vigor :P Untapped Lands for a choice of one of 3 mana? Yes please!
-edit- Again, not a Mirrodin, but using in my Mirrodin Pure xD

Solid mana-fixing. It gets the job done at uncommon, and without hugely prohibitive drawbacks.

Tapped is not that bad. Thats why they made Day of Judgment, to humble greedy opponents who try to take advantage of your late development.
