I am not sure what i think about this card. Exalted is basicallt not on this card without another card in play. This dosnt make it useless, but it definately makes it worse as it can never pump itsself. Still a non-creature with exalted is kind of neat and it still has some functionalty. The thing that turns me off to this card the most is the fact that its second ability was on Seasoned Marshal, a Portal Rare/ Urza's saga uncommon that just isnt that great a card, plus it only works when a dude attacks alone. At CMC 3 this might have been playable SOMEWHERE, but as is i dont think this card is perticularly playable, even for a casual deck.

Exalted themed decks will be the only dudes playing this.

Four mana is too much for these two rather weak effects.

For four mana, you could play four Akrasan Squire cards. And frankly, 4 1/1 creatures with exalted is somehow more useful than the opportunity to tap one creature! per turn! if you have an actual damage-dealing attacking creature! (sold separately)

I would consider trying it with Nacatl War Pride. It will make the main War Pride bigger, and the tap ability will ensure that at least 1 more of your War Pride tokens will go through. I do think, however, that at 4 CMC, the cost is way to high. I would also probably play it at 3, but only in very select circumstances.

The cost is about 1 more than it should be... But it's still nice and creative for a Bant deck.

the point of this card is to remove a block from the path to victory, say like that huge flier (10/10 flying, DS) you got wants to swing, and they block with.... a 1/1 farie, you cry as your huge lethal damage is absorbed by their tiny flier and you cant make it trample

in the end, it is worse then rafiq, battlegrace, and finest hour, but if you need to fill in 1 more spot, this isnt too bad

what it is for is removing their blocker that would stop your awesome swinger, in that nich, it is a finishing card, otherwise, there are better cards

The best use of exalted I've seen so far. A non-creature permanent with exalted that lets you tie up a troublesome blocker.

Only Stoic Angel could make the most use of this card, if it had a 3 CMC it would be a nice card

Perhaps a touch expensive, but the ability to go "Mmm...nope, you're not blocking with that." is invaluable for Bant, where trample is practically unheard of.

Underrated. Often times it'll get you past that one last blocker. Great if for whatever reason you want to do mono-white exalted. Also good for Rafiq of the Many EDH.

For the exact same cost, I would rather cast Sidar Jabari. Obviously there are pros and cons of creature vs enchantment, but with Sidar, I have another tool to whittle my opponent's life away and kill his creatures. Plus I'm not limited to attacking with only 1 creature to get the tapping benefit.
