This card might be better than you think when used in conjunction with Clash effects. This will also get your opponent's land on the bottom of his library.

i dont know if id use it with clash effects. if you put land on top of their library, assuming they arent a land fall deck, it sets them back a draw and mana for a turn, slowing their game down. seems somewhat effective

Underrated. Can really slow them down.

Puts them behind one draw and also puts them one mana behind during your turn.
If a blue deck counters, you already won xD I'd say great card.

One draw and two/three mana (depending on how you look at it) if you target a bounce land!

wouldn't it be better to just destroy the land most of the time?

Every flavour text from "Afari, Tales" is great. Mirage is truly when MTG started to increase the quality of its fantasy atmosphere, art and over-all creativity.

makes you feel like a complete jerk when your opponent has already been mana flooded for most of the game.

Green has a surprising amount of land disruption.

Interesting green stalling tool. Hitting lands with bad ETB effects is nice, and it can guarantee that your opponent won't topdeck something to save them from your late-game stompy assault.

Good multipurpose card. It can set back an opponent by a turn, denying them a key land. If you're running it in Blue-Green, you can mill it out just to spit in their face.
The most unique trick it has though, is comboing with Lost in the Woods and using it on yourself to guarantee you'll "lose" one attacker. It's uncommon to see a scenario like that emerge, but it can shut down Exalted decks and the like pretty easily in formats where they're all legal. (EDH, namely)
