As you would expect, good only half the time. Not bad when it works though.

I think people misjudge this card. Even if it cant attack half the time, the half it cant it can be used for a blocker. And in Goblin Decks, it works as fodder for things like SGC, or Fodder Launch, in R/B Goblin decks. It's one of those cards that once it gets too pampered, and no longer usefull, you just send it on it's way... preferably through screaming death via Fodder Launch ;D

He likes to have haste. Like if you have Goblin Chieftain out.

I don't really see the "half the time" bit. In a good gobbo deck I imagine you'll lay him down T1, lay another 1-2 gobbos turn 2, lay a lord or better on turn 3, finish the enemy with some other goblin t4. If you're not casting goblins, sure , the game will drag on. In the right deck these are 2/2s for 1 with no drawback, so use the right deck.

I remember using this in a draft along with Glitterfang. I won two matches with that combo. Good times.

For the record, Goblins are the ORIGINAL self-sacrifice tribe. My opponent thought I was out of steam on turn 5. Then I used this guy to Goblin Grenade him to the face. Again, he's never bad if you build your deck right.

Well, that's not quite the set I expected the first reprint to be from.
But you could tell from the fact that this guy wasn't named "Akki Cohort" that they planned to reprint this guy - which himself was a functional reprint of Mogg Conscrípts.
