1 power for 3 mana is pretty stinky, especially in white. This is really, really marginal even in Sealed; true, it beats the crap out of Bird Maiden, but that doesn't make it good.

As Jeff said, this isn't great. 3 mana for a 1/2, even with its abilities, is substandard for white and red. It's a good common, but it's really a stretch to find competitive uses for it.

This card would have been perfect if P/T were flipped. A 2/1 first striking flyer for 3 would have fit perfectly, and have been much more useful.

True it's not great by itself, but it's a cheap platform to put Scourge of the Nobilis on, then it's hard to deal with without disenchantments.

Pretty terrifying, good flavor and art, but practically useless. The elements of the card are too counterintuitive and don't work together at all... If the Flying is doing its job, chances are the First Strike isn't doing anything. And on top of that, these two offensive abilities are paired up with horrible attack power. They might as well have given him Defender. Also amusing to note that it proves two Goblin cliches simultanously; 1) Goblins with Flying are rarely a good thing 2) A goblin sitting on just about any creature will consider itself a Knight
In conclusion, I'm almost certain cicadas look nothing like that, even if enlarged to show texture.
Ok anything else red-white. This one ain't worth wasting good aura on.

This guy doesn't even trade with Storm Crow. They just slap at each other ineffectually and then retreat. Also, saying that something is better than Goblin Sky Raider isn't really saying very much at all.

Not that great on its own. It does make a good platform for Scourge of the Nobilis, Balefire Liege, or just about anything that can make goblins stronger. Shared Animosity, perhaps?

xD It's more like a playable Cloud Crusader in my opinion, I think it's wonderful, but only in a deck which dedicates to both Red and White pumps. The reason I'll argue that it's a good card though is just that it has raw versatility on it's side.

It has two good abilities and two relevant creature types. Playable if your strategy is equipment//auras or tribal.
