This card is a engine for many decks, especially when Gush was legal in Vintage...This remains a decent ramp engine for many decks...1 damage for every extra land played isn't too heavy of a price to pay...

Dealing 1 damage to you for each extra land you put into play .... putting an EXTRA land onto the battlefield for just 1 life is a WAY crazy deal. Definitely and completely overpowered ... :)

It's pretty awesome... although it should be noted that, outside of specific combos, the card is not as useful drawn later in the game. Still a solid 4.5/5.

So I recently found fastbond with my old cards and I was wondering if I can play lands on other players turns. Based on the text of the card it makes it seem as though I can when it says "you may put as many lands into play as you want each turn."
