Cat Warrior? How are these guys warriors?

Uktabi Wildcats - Sounds like a good name for a Dominaria football team.

A3kitsune, they're not anymore. Errata removed the Warrior creature type.

the fact that warrior is even there is hilarious, nothing at all in any printings of the card infers that they are warriors.

I really wish that regeneration clause didn't require sacrificing a land...not only does it slow you down, it also reduces the power and toughness of your Uktabi Wildcats

Cat Warrior was a great creature type, but a warrior sounds like a trained fighter while these are wild beasts...

Inelegant card design, in my opinion.

Putting a card like this at such a steep mana cost means that they're not coming out particularly quick, and when they do come out, they're really nothing special. You can't even use non-land acceleration (Llanowar Elves et al.) to speed it up, because you'll get a weaker cat.

And you have to pay mana and sacrifice to regenerate? I don't think I'd have played this in Limited, either, and none of the casual decks I saw when 6th Edition was fresh ever played it.

I know people are dissing on the forest sacrifice, but I think its great top-down design. This creature is not just one cat - it's whole pack. If it gets hit by a fireball, one of the cats 'sacrifices' itself for the pack, making it survive the ball of fire.
