it is a helmet, he is pretending to be a soldier, that said, he makes a nice ally in extended, champion an ally, ally comes back and triggers its ability again, same goes for titan and beserker

he should have flash if he's going to cost 5 cmc and needs to champion. Or he should cost 4cmc. Champion is exploitable, but its still a drawback.

Play this, champion something; play the titan, champion this; play the berserker, champion the titan, this comes back, use it to champion the berserker, titan comes back, use it to champion this, berserker comes back...

Lifelink's pretty relevant when his power gets boosted by every tribal lord in existence.

In constructed a 4/4 lifelinker is nice, but the multiple creature types is the real draw. After all, if you're not going to abuse the changeling ability, then why are you playing changelings?
