A good idea for a defensive white creature, but for 6CC, you can do much, much better. At 4CC this would be a good card.

@VampireCat: At 4cmc this would be a scarier blocker than Indomitable Ancients.

I love additional blocking. I once traded a rare for an Echo Circlet.

Whats up with people wanting at this and other similar cards at a CMC close to their P/T (a green trait no doubt), you people need to get that mentality out of your heads

6 is a bit too much, 5 would be balanced, 4 and its almost as good as Baneslayer Angel as a COMMON

This card is okay, however I do not like first strike for creatures that can block more than one at a time, esp giving his low toughness

Would have loved it at {WW3}, but I understand the need for highly splashable commons.

This plus deathtouch would be awesome.

Limited filler. Seems pretty good in limited actually.
